Hammered brass hairpins

Twist hair into a bun. Be sure not to make the bun too tight, but get the ends of your hair tucked in really well. Hold hairpin with a good grip, pinch shut and go straight into your bun from the top, graze scalp, and weave all the way back out of your bun. Think of the motion of the hairpin as a big stitch, weave, or u-turn. Also remember, there is no wrong way. If it holds you’re doing it just right.
